Daughter of Marcus M. and Anna H. Nergaard Gilbertson, she never married, was a homemaker, lived at Box 338 Cathlamet, died in Columbia View Nursing Home of cardio respiratory arrest, extensive CVA, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic uremia, per death certificate 146-87 05077, whose informant was Agnes Vik, 275 E. Sunny Sands Rd., Cathlamet. Buried Mar 21 1987.

Johanna K. Gilbertson, 77, of Puget Island died March 17, 1987, in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born July 29, 1909 on Puget Island.

She attended school on Puget Island, was a homemaker, and lived music. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a sister, Agnes Vik, of Puget Island; four nephews, Terry Vik Gilbert Vik, and Mark Vik of Puget Island, and Bruce Vik of Seattle; three cousins, Fritz Gilbertsen and Anna Marie Palmer of Seattle, and Borghild Hammer of Ketchikan, AK.

Services will be at her church at 2 pm Saturday with Pastor Stuart McDonald officiating.
