NEWPORT - Dorothy Broyles, 47, of Parrottsville, died Tuesday morning at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville.

Mrs. Broyles was employed as a bookkeeper at Cocke County Vocational School.

She attended Brown's Chapel Church.

Survivors include her husband: Eddie Broyles; two daughters and a son-in-law: Jill and Allen Holt of Greenville, S.C., and Heather Broyles of the home; a grandson: Josh Broyles of the home; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Nickie and Brenda Partin of Greeneville and Arlow Partin of Del Rio; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Wanda and Haskell Yates of Parrottsville, Betty and Alvin Peters of Greeneville, and Jo and Jerry Morelock of Chuckey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a daughter of the late Lenard and Hazel Partin and was preceded in death by two brothers: Estel Lee Partin and Charles Partin; and a sister: Alice Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home in Newport.

The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the funeral home chapel with interment in Brown's Chapel Church Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Jennings will officiate.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
