EAST WATERBORO - Loretta Aurora Aballo, age 85, passed away on Aug. 28, 2012 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
She was born in Fall River, MA on Sept. 14, 1926, a daughter of the late Alfred and Aurora (Marcotte) Smith.
Loretta attended schools in Fall River and went on to work at several factories in the Fall River area.
She will always be remembered for her love of knitting, cooking, and playing the organ.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband- Joseph Aballo; and her sister- Antoinette Quental.
Loretta is survived by her sons- Bruce Aballo and his wife Gail of East Waterboro and Brian Aballo and his wife Pam of Bayonne, NJ; grandchildren- Timothy and his fiancé Alissa, Joseph and his wife Tiffany, Ann, and Christopher Aballo; a newborn great granddaughter- Addison; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, at 10 AM at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, MA. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
