HUTCHISON BARBER MEETS DEATH SUDDENLY - BRING BODY HERE FOR FUNERAL
J. W. "Wes" Abbott, a well known barber, was killed in a freight train wreck near Wildon, Missouri, yesterday morning when the car on which he was riding was crushed. Word was received by Mrs. Maude Abbott of 25 Avenue F. West, yesterday afternoon of the accident, and she left today to secure the body, Funeral services will probably be held in Hutchinson next week.
Mr. Abbott is survived by wife, Mrs. Maude Abbott, a son, Cloys Abbott, now a member of Company I. of Herington, Kansas National Guard and four brothers, William Abbott of Raleigh, and Henry, Noah, and Clayton Abbott, all of near Sylvia.
Word has been received from Mr. Abbott at Joplin that he was enroute to Illinois to visit relatives and he left that city probably Thursday.
