Note: Thomas Parker Abbott, son of Farnum Abbott lived with his parents in Andover, Oxford County, Maine, most of the time during his minority and then went to Boston, Massachusetts, and worked at making boxes, etc. He cut his knee, and made it pretty stiff. Came back here to Andover, Oxford County, Maine, and bought Lot 9, Range 1, Kimball Mile. He does not take much interest in public or town affairs, nor in politics. He and his wife are industrious, frugal, good neighbors, and fast friends, He is honest, but not a great financier; does not refuse to take a little strong drink occasionally.
