Pauline Radford Shelor, 90, of Floyd, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Whitestone Nursing Home in Greensboro, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Francis Marion Radford and Nora Lee Howell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, P.L. Shelor Jr. Pauline will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her strength of character, values, love and generosity for her family were evident throughout her life. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Floyd, Women of the Church and an active member of the Home Demonstration Club.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Maberry Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Womack officiating. Interment to follow at the Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Presbyterian Church of Floyd, 169 Newtown Road, Floyd, VA 24091. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
