Obituary, Roemmich –
Mrs. Lydia Roemmich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Klein, was born on Jan. 24, 1895, at Sutton. She passed away on Jan. 15 reaching the age of 70 years, 11 months and 21 days. At the age of 3 the family moved to Wolbach, Nebr., where they lived for about 20 years and returning to the Sutton community.

On April 9, 1922 she was united in marriage to Leonard P. Roemmich, making their home north of Sutton. Nine children were born to this union, two passing away in infancy, also a son, Cleo, and her parents and a brother, Carl. Her husband, Leonard, also preceded her, passing away on Nov. 9, 1964.

The deceased was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her children: Darrell of Saronville, Alonzo of Walthill, Phillip of Mead, Colo., Verdella [sic] (Mrs. Harold Stevens) of Fairmont, Leland of Saronville, Norma (Mrs. Clarence Watson) of Hastings, also one brother, Fred Klein of Sutton; and three sisters, Louise, Mrs. Ed Klein of Sutton, Margaret Trautman of Sutton and Christina, Mrs. Ted Ackerman of Sutton; also 16 grandchildren, besides many other relatives and friends.
