Jo Ann passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Purcell, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School. Jo Ann owned a dog breeding and grooming business. She married Eugene Ables on January 14, 1954 in Durant, OK. Jo Ann was of the Baptist faith. She was a Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed going to good restaurants and going to the casino with her family.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Connie Gene Holden of Lindsay, OK.; son, Bobby Joe Ables of Lindsay, OK.; granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Holden of Oklahoma City, OK.; cousins, J.D. Brady and wife Thelma of Atoka, OK., Kathleen Barton and husband Lloyd of Atoka, OK., Joyce Meeks of Electa, TX.; along with other relatives and many friends.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Evelyn (Henson) KuyKendall; husband, Eugene Ables; son, James Harold Ables; brother, Harold Dean KuyKendall.
