Charles J. immigrated in 1884. He married Ethel Brown. They were the parents of Vera. He died at Swan Lake, IA.

Nov 19, 1915 - Humboldt Republican - C.J. Aaronson, landlord of the Aaronson hotel at Livermore and general good fellow, dropped from his chair stone dead at Hunters Lodge near Swan Lake Saturday evening last.

Mr. Aaronson and a couple of friends had been hunting at the lake, and Mr. Aronson, was a famous cook, prepared an especially appetising dish from which they all ate heartily. For some time he had been complaining of indigestion, and this evening did not go to the lake to shoot, not feeling well.

Although the others had returned from the lake, they had gone to bed. Suddenly there was a crash and the others got up and found him lying on his face, stone dead.

Death was caused by stoppage of the heart. Mr. Aaronson was a popular and prosperous citizen of this community and will be deeply missed.
