Mrs. B. A. Aarons Funeral Rites on Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. B. A. Aarons, 55, 811 south eighteenth street, will be held Monday morning at 8:30 at the Laufersweiler funeral home and at 9 o’clock at Sacred Heart church. The Rev. C. P. Sweeney, Sacred Heart pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Corpus Christi cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. Rosary rites will be held Saturday evening at 8 o’clock at the funeral home and members of the Sacred Heart Rosary society will meet there at 4 p.m. Sunday to recite the rosary. Catholic Daughters of America will hold a rosary service at the funeral home at 8 o’clock Sunday evening.

Mrs. Aarons died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Mercy hospital in Omaha, Neb., after a two-months illness.

THE FORMER Kathryn Lydon, she was born Sept. 14, 1904, at Stuart, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Lydon.

She moved to West Des Moines as a child and attended the schools there. She was married Sept. 15, 1925, in West Des Moines to B. A. Aarons of Fort Dodge. The couple established their home here.

Mr. Aarons died Oct. 24, 1959.

Surviving Mrs. Aarons are a daughter, Miss Kay Aarons of this city; and two sons, Bernard of Omaha and Donald of Los Angeles, Calif. Six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Marion Anderson of Hayward, Calif., and four brothers, Carl Lydon of Parker, Ariz., Ambrose Lydon and Edward Lydon of Hawthorne, Calif., and William Lydon of Sunnyvale, Calif.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Aarons was a member of Sacred Heart parish, the church’s Rosary society and the Catholic Daughters of America.
