Kitty Andrews, 81, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, July 30, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Don Snipes, pastor of Baptist Temple Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on February 18, 1925, in Bearden, Arkansas and married J. A. Andrews. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1977.

Kitty came to Big Spring in 1958 from Arkansas and had worked as a volunteer at the V.A. Hospital for a number of years.

She was a member of the Baptist Temple Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Crispin and Ann Pope, both of Big Spring; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Dr. Shannon and Dr. Stephen Dobranski of Atlanta, Georgia; her beloved Tinker; and one brother, Lester Ables of Magnolia, Arkansas; and Debbie Tucker of Big Spring, whom she considered a daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Richard Ables.
