Mabel Aasheim, 94, of Holt Court, Greeneville, died Tuesday at Signature HealthCare Center.

She was a retired registered nurse.

Mrs. Aasheim was a member of Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law: Karen and John Fortune of Berrien Springs, Mich; two sons and daughters-in-law: Roger and Beverly Aasheim of Collegedale, and Dr. Richard and Sheila Aasheim of Greeneville; her grandchildren and their spouses: Heather and Doug Hilliard of Apopka, Fla., Heidi and Lief Sorensen of Denver, Colo., Holly and Brandon Bryan of Cumming, Ga., Roger Norman Aasheim II and his wife, Twyla, of Loma Linda, Calif., Kristina Aasheim of Collegedale, Mark and Paula Fortune of Berrien Springs, Michael and Jackie Fortune of Toledo, Ohio, Matthew and Carla Fortune of Apopka, and Maegan Fortune of Berrien Springs; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Karsten Aasheim, and two brothers.

There will be no formal visitation or service

A memorial service for Mabel Aasheim, 94, of Holt Court, Greeneville, who passed away Dec. 14, 2010, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Aasheim was the mother of Dr. Richard Aasheim
