She was predeceased by her husband, Freeman E. Abbey, who died on August 8, 1990, also of Claremont, NH.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children include: Dale Abbey, Deanna (Abbey) Crowell and Jane Quelch of Claremont, NH, Everett Abbey of Webster, NY, and Joanna Haselman of Sharpsburg, GA. She also leaves behind three step daughters, Dawn Holt, Patricia Hoskinson, Debra Raymond and the late Brenda Clow all of Claremont, NH, as well as two sisters, Shirley Farrar and Alita Parody and one brother, Casper Woodcock, Jr. She also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She spent much of her early adult life in Weston, Reading, and Londonderry, VT, where she waitressed and worked on the family dairy farm.
She also was the first of her family to attend college, at Castleton State College.
She enjoyed playing bingo. She loved cooking and having family gatherings. Christmas was her favorite holiday which she loved to share with the family.
She married Freeman on July 2, 1969. She has spent the last 20 years waiting to be with him. They are now together again. May they both rest in peace.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
