Emma was married second to George Bennett Weyant (1878-1945) on August 16, 1912 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Emma and George were divorced by 1916. Emma married her third husband, Leo Gilbert LaFrance (1884-1949) in October 1918 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. Emma was the mother of three children with her first husband, Edwin Abbott. Her children included Goldie and Ray Abbott.
