Workman Hurt Fatally In Dynamite Blast. Lancaster, Ky., Sept. 20 (Special)—Earl Abee, 38, of Garrard county was injured fatally in a dynamite blast near Horrington Lake, Boyle county, about 3 p. m. today while working on a gas line project. Witnesses said Abee an employee of the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company, was struck on the head by a rock thrown by the explosion. The victim was taken to a Danville hospital, but died shortly after arriving. He was a native of North Carolina, Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Gill Abee; one son, James Earl Abee; two daughters, Juanita and Joetta Abee; one sister, Mrs. John B. Kurtz, Buckeye, and one brother, Willard Abee, North Carolina. The body was brought to the Miller, Cox and Ramsey funeral home here.
