Judy Ann Bradley Green, age 73, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, May 1, 2012.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Sybil Moss Bradley. She was
married to Arthur Green, Jr. for 39 years. She was a secretary for the U.S. Forest Service for 12
years; she was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church where she was the
Children's Sunday School Teacher. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved
being with people, especially children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Greg Allen of Otto, NC, Rick Green
and wife Pat and Larry Green all of Franklin, NC; three sisters, Noreen Gibson of Dallas, NC,
Merle Adameit of Otto, NC and Freda Justus of Clayton, GA; two brothers, Lawrence Bradley of
Marietta, GA and Richard Bradley of Otto, NC; six grandchildren, Morgan Green, Lauren
Bowen, Jennifer Bowen Gilbreath, Amber Allen, Mitchel Green, Brittany Green Carr; two greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Potts;
one brother, Gene Bradley; and a grandson, Adam Green.
Funeral service was held at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 3, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral
Home, with Rev. David Crunkleton officiating. Burial was in Asbury United Methodist Church
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary VanHook, Roy Green, Curtis Green, Les Green, Mitchel Green
and Tracy McDowell. The family received friends Thursday from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m., one hour
prior to the service, at the funeral home.
