Carrie May Cupp, 89, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garnet Robbins in Downey, Calif., Wednesday morning, Sept. 17.

She was born in Milton, July 18, 1880, the daughter of James T. Abernathy and Mary E. Smith Abernathy. She was married to Glen O. Cupp, Dec. 30, 1906. He died 1954.

They had made their home in Bloomfield until 1954. She had been in California the past 15 years.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Bloomfield and of the Christian Church in Los Angeles.

She is survived by her daughter; a sister, Irene Allen of Seal Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted by the Rebekah Lodge of Bloomfield Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.
