Services for Orville Polston, 74, of McKinney, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Rick Naylor. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery. He died at his home.
Born Dec. 18, 1929 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Sarah Wilson Polston. He was a bus driver for Lincoln County, McKinney and Stanford schools and a member Of Green River Pentecostal Church. Survivers include his wife Aleene Polston; a daughter Lyda Yocum of McKinney; two sisters, Mattie Kidd of Stanford and Hattie Floyd of Danville. Pallbearers will be Freeman and Jimmy Franklin, Donnie Griffin, Buck Stinson, John Kidd and Sammy Polston. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Gosser, Jerry Shannon, Dale Reed, Brad Collett and Gene VanHook. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.
