Hannah Elizabeth Knight was born on
March 16, 1853 at Glouchester, Mass.
and was married to J. Morton Abbott
on December 2 1871.

To the union was born six children,
Alfred M. of McGill, Nevada, Maude
Bowser, Oberlin, Kansas, Myra Light-
body, Chicago, Illinois, Bessie Van
Scoter, Irving, Kansas and Iva Brandt,
Chicago, Illinois.

She departed this life at her home in
Webb, Arizona on May 11, 1926.
She leaves to mourn her passing her
husband, Alfred; six children and
thirteen grandchildren, eleven great
grandchildren, a sister, two brothers.

Her married life extended over a period
of fifty-five years. She was a member
of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

She was laid to rest in the Greenwood
Cemetery at Irving, Kansas on May
15, 1926.
