Michael Glenn Abner, 47, of North Willow Drive in Morehead, died Sunday, June 25 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington from complications of a stroke he suffered on June 18.

He was born Nov. 25, 1952 in Fayette County to David Abner and Rozella Littlefield Abner.

He was the owner and operator of Mike Abner Construction Company and a member of the Clearfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Susan Caudill Abner, whom he married on June 21, 1973; one son, Christopher David Abner, at home: one daughter, Lauren Michelle Abner, at home.

His parents, David and Rozella Abner of Morehead; four sisters, Barbara Stewart, Patricia Dailey and Kelli Barhorst, all of Morehead and Susan Grogan of Nicholasville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were set for Wednesday, June 28 at Clearfield Church with Rev. H. G. Pratt, Rev. Lindon Backnell and Rev. Don Evans officiating with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Special music compliments of J.C. Black, Jonathan Adkins and Mike Gray.

Pallbearers: John Paul Blevins, Ray Griffith, Glennis Black, Steve Goldberg, David Lowe, Jerry Flannery, Marvin (Tob) Jackson, Joe Perkins, Steve Walker and Dewayne Allen.
