Maggie Beale Twiford

KITTY HAWK — Mrs. Maggie Beale Twiford, 88 of Herbert Perry Road, died Sept. 14, in an Elizabeth City hospital.

Mrs. Twiford was the daughter of the late Paul and Martha Perry Beale and widow of William T. Twiford. A native or Duck, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary T. Rogers of Kitty Hawk: two brothers: Thomas C. Twiford and W. Clyde Twiford, both or Kitty Hawk. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Austin Cemetery. Kitty Hawk on Sunday, September 17, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Bill Creef. The family will receive friends at the home or Mary T. Rogers on Herbert Perry Road.

Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo is in charge of arrangements.
