Mrs. Lottie Mae Abbott King, 89, of Highbridge Road, Pinnacle, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born May 9, 1914, in Stokes County to the late Walter Raleigh Abbott and Elizabeth Stephens Abbott. Mrs. King was a former supervisor at Lucia and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. King attended Pinnacle United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle Gregory and husband Nolan of Mebane, Joyce Watson and husband Charles of Pinnacle, and Rachel Kennedy and husband James of Pinnacle; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Priddy and wife Hilda of Clemmons, David Priddy and wife Sue of Walnut Cove, and Jerry Priddy and wife Cindy of King; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Southard of Yadkinville and Doris Goins of East Bend; three brothers, Norman Abbott of Saint Peters, Mo., Walter Abbott of Waynesboro, Va., and Richard Abbott of Clemmons; and three special aunts, Sadie, Beatrice and Annie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Dewey Abbott. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Pinnacle United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Kathy Earley, with interment in the church cemetery.

Lottie was married to James Henry Priddy. They divorced Jul 30, 1962.
