He had been in retail for K Mart Stores and was a Vietnam Air Force veteran; he was a member of Amvets Post 42 and he enjoyed watching sports. Born April 18, 1943, in Jasper County, Texas, to the late Jack D. and Maxine A. (Stanford) Biggars.
Survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 17 years, Sandra (O'Neal) Biggars; sister, JoAnn (Wayne) Jackson of Crosby, TX; best friend, Ron Verges of Festus; extended family: Marie & Jim Gordon, Brenda & John O'Neal, Peggy & Charlie Cannon, Mary Boyete, Kenny & Denise Clay and Kensie Newman all of Florida; and special companion, Sampson the dog. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Paula Winters.
