ISABEL R. "LIZ" TSOUMAS, suddenly, beloved wife of Theodore "Ted" Tsoumas, loving mother of Deborah (Sonny) Dawson, Theodore. Jr. (Linda), Richard (Linda), Ronald (Beth), Lawrence (Sharon), and Gary (Ginny); cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of two; devoted daughter of Rose and the late Leo Abbinanti; dear sister of Marie Strecker, Donald Abbinanti, Carol Abbinanti and the late Leo Abbinanti. Liz and Ted are lifelong Chicagoans. Both attended St Vincent DePaul grammar school and DePaul University. Liz graduated from Immaculata Girls Academy and Ted from DePaul Academy. They were married at St. Vincent DePaul Church on April 11, 1953. They raised their children in they Edgebrook area. Liz was active at St. Mary of the Woods Church and School. After raising their children, she served as office manager for a large Chicago law firm for ten years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and at the family cottage.

Funeral Friday at 9:30 am from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. to St. Mary of the Woods Church for Mass at 10 :00 am. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3-9 PM.
