George Abbott, aged sixty-eight years, an old resident of the city, died last Tuesday at his home, 708 Eleventh street, of a stroke of paralysis sustained on Monday at the plant of the New Albany Manufacturing Company at East Tenth and Water streets. Abbott had been employed by the company as machinist for the past twenty-five years. He was removed to his home but did not revive and continued to sink until death came.
