He was born in New Haven, Connecticut on February 13, 1965 and was employed by Hospice of Hilo as a social worker. He was a member of the East Hawaii Cultural Center. A "Celebration of Life" Service will be held on May 11, 2013 (Saturday) at Estrella Mountain Regional Park, 14805 West Vineyard Avenue, Goodyear, Arizona 85338, at 10:30 a.m. He is survived by wife, Luoluo Hong of Hilo; sister, Carla Aamodt-Worth of Kansas City, Missouri; father, Gary Aamodt of Minneapolis, Minnesota; mother, Lila Aamodt of Kansas City, Missouri; nieces, Kaila Hong Maurice of Phoenix, Arizona and Meili Hong Maurice of Phoenix, Arizona; nephew, Makai Maurice of Phoenix, Arizona.
