Mrs. Leeves died Friday night at the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Rockwood, Tenn., and she had lived in Tallulah since 1905. Before moving to Tallulah she had resided at Millikins Bend. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. George W. Gaines. Dr. Gaines was one of the first doctors in Madison Parish.
Mrs. Leeves was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Attie Leeves and Mrs. Claude Grimes; one grandson, Bill Grimes of Ft. Worth, Tex.
Pallbearers will be Judge Cliff C. Adams, J. K. Post Jr., Edgar H. Lancaster Jr., Herbert Massey, Rufus T. Yerger, Warren Patrick, Robert N. Graves and J. C. Sherwin.
Honorary pallbearers will be all physicians and dentists in Tallulah and one physician from Vicksburg, Miss.
