William H. Bills, 58, a resident of Paris Pike, Cynthiana, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 1991, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Bourbon County, son of the late Horton and Mary Berry Bills. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from IBM Lexington after 33 years and was a memeber of the Harrison County Beef Association. He was a member and deacon of Cynthiana Baptist Church, where he served as a sunday school teacher and usher and was a member of the baptism, finance,and nominating committees. Survivors include: his wife, Ruth Kearns Bills; three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Vicki) Sharp, Mrs. Mike (Linda) Masters, and Mrs. Marty (Kim) Kearns, all of Cynthiana; a brother James Bills, Cynthiana; two sisters Dorothy Abner and Ruby Bills, both of Paris; six grandchildren, Christy Stanfield, Selena Sharp, Drew Sharp, Jillian Kearns, Daniel Kearns, and Spencer Kearns; and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Clyde Kearns, Cynthiana. Funeral services were conducted at 11 AM on Monday Feb. 4, by the Rev. Gabriel Collett and the Rev. John Wallace at Ware Funeral Home. Burial in Battlegrove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Dave Fisherm Willard Friffett, Lee Sparks, Richard Crawley, Robert Hedges, Robert Oakley, Marty Kearns, and Mike Masters. Honorary Pallbearers were the deacons of Cynthiana Baptist Church.
