Born to Louis and Agnes Aasen. Moving to Turtle River as a small girl, she attended schools there and in Bemidji. On June 13, 1937, she married Quentin Larson in Bemidji and they made their home in Hibbing. They then moved to California and finally to Bemidji in 1945 where they have resided since.

She is survived by her husband, Quenten; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Patricia) Vance of Bemidji; her mother, Mrs. Agnes Aasen of Bemidji; three brothers, Noel Aasen of Brainerd, Melvin Aasen of Bemidji and Edwin Aasen of Otis, Oregon; three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. (Bemidji Pioneer, Jan 17, 1975)
