Herman Henry Kuiper, 90, of Allison, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison in Allison, Iowa. He was born on November 10, 1922, in Allison, Iowa, to Henry and Grace (Mulder) Kuiper. Herman attended rural country schools. He was united in marriage to Etta De Groot on December 15, 1944, at the Stout Reformed Parsonage in Stout, Iowa. He farmed for many years, drove bus for the Allison-Bristow school district, worked for Farmer's Feed & Grain in Allison and also worked for the City of Allison. Herman was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Allison and was on the consistory. He enjoyed farming, fishing, woodworking, painting houses and barns and taking walks with his wife Etta. Herman is survived by his wife Etta, sons Roger of Allison and Ray and wife Judy of Lewiston, Minnesota, six grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ronald, brother Albert, infant brother Henry and sister Angeline.

Burial will take place in the Allison Cemetery.
