His death certificate #1344 says that he was born and died at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Lebanon, Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas Gerald and Betty Jean (Craig) Abell. His physician, Dr. Cooper Clarkson, of Lebanon, KY gave the reason for the baby's death as prematurely developed--7 months. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, KY was in charge of the services at Our Lady of the Hills Cemetery, Finley, KY.

Child dies at the hospital nine hours after birth
Joseph Anthony Abell, nine hour old son of Thomas G. and Betty Jean Craig Abell, died at 1:00 a.m.
Monday at Mary Immaculate Hospital.

Besides the parents, he is survived by two brothers, Tommy and Mike Abell; the grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Alonzo Craig and Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell Abell.
The remains were at the Bosley Funeral Home until the graveside services at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Our
Lady of the Hills Church, Finley.
