He was born on September 5, 1928 in Rankin, IL to Lester J. & Katherine (Robinson) Aaron. He was first married to Mary Maddox and she passed in 1997. He then married Lillian Ruth Ostler on March 14, 2010 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church and she survives.
Survived by his wife, Ruth Aaron of Frankfort, 3 Step Daughters, Scharra Jackson of Kokomo, Asia Smith of Anderson, Cindy (David) Pitcock of Frankfort; 1 Step-Son, Brian (Sue) Smart of Frankfort; 3 Sisters, Lois (Wayne) Lehew of Oklahoma, Dorothy Dennis of Texas, Connie (Joe) Fiedorowitz of Florida; a Brother, Larry (Birdie) Aaron of Florida; a Special Cousin, Jack (Helen) Aaron of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; including special grandsons, Mike Adams, Brian Smart, Michael Sutton and Logan Adams; and special great granddaughters, Hailey Sutton, MacKenzie Swango, Sarah Langworthy and Rebecka Smart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Maddox Aaron; a brother, Richard Aaron; and a step daughter, Janice Adams.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23rd at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
