A resident of LaPlace and a former resident of Norco, she died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, in LaPlace. She was 92.

Visiting at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, on Friday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Abby" Abadie Sr.; parents, Eddie Hidalgo and Alice Bartell Hidalgo; sisters and brothers, Joyce, Harold and Alby Hidalgo and Ida DiBenedetto. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco is in charge of arrangements.
