A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Yvonne Rebstock Acosta, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died at 7:53 a.m. Thursday. Jan. 25.
Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano.
Interment will be in the church mausoleum.
She was the mother of Freddie J. Acosta Jr., Rema Chiasson, Phyllis Collins and Gail Guidry; stepsister of Camille Rebstock Jr., Earline Rome, Nancy Thibodaux and Rosemary Bourg. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Joseph Acosta; parents, Camille and Rema Terrebonne Rebstock; two brothers, Edison and Jefferson Rebstock; and two sisters, Camillia Bowen and Duciana Pierce.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart.
