A member of the Baptist Church, Mrs. Merritt died Sunday in the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City following a long illness.
She was a native of Prescott, Ark., and a resident of Bossier City for seven years.
She is survived by four sons, Victor Monroe Breedlove of Dallas, Tex., Felix [sic Frank] W. Breedlove of Savannah, Ga., Cecil B. Breedlove of Tallulah and Glen D. Breedlove of Bossier City; one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lee Aaron of Lake Providence; 25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Glen Breedlove, Lamar Breedlove, Ronald Moore, George Scott, John Morgan, and Dave Moore.
