Ronald Arnold D Ables, age 81, a long time Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, April 26, 1940, to Amos and Dessia (Rhodes) Ables, at Atoka, OK. Ronald Arnold passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Coalgate, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School and received a bachelor degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Ronald Arnold taught school in New Mexico for nine years, worked many years at the Atoka Manor, was a social worker for a period of time and also did home care for several different people. Ronald was a member of the First Christian Church of Atoka. He loved people and proudly took care of the elderly. Ronald is survived by his brother, Bob Ables of Walters, OK; cousins, E.A. Gossett and wife Carol of Atoka, OK, June Eldridge of Atoka, OK; along with numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Dessia (Rhodes) Ables; sisters, Mary Teresa, Billie Jo; brothers, A.E. Ables, Gene Ables
