Dies in Batavia
Mrs. Lottie Markham,94, widow of Jud Markham, died Tuesday at Batavia, N.Y.,where she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Fredrick Thurau, for the past five years.
Funeral services with Eastern Star rites will be held at the Pontius Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial in Brookside cemetery.
A native of Charleviox, the former Lottie Mason spent her entire life in the community until going east following the death of her husband. She was a school teacher and later was employed in the dry goods department of Mason stores here.
She was a life member of the Eastern Star.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by two grandchildren.
