Henry Curtis Adams, age 65, Smithville, TN, formerly of Winkler's Community in Macon County, TN, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Dekalb Funeral Home in Smithville, TN with Brother Clayton Neal officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Holly Cemetery.
Henry Curtis Adams was born the son of the late Henry Thomas and Lela Curtis Adams. He was a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church and a carpenter.
He is survived by; wife, Dianna Adams, Smithville, TN; children, Penny Arnold, Chattanooga, TN, Lee Adams and Scott Adams both of Smithville, TN; brother, Sammy Adams, Powell, TN; grandchildren, Terry Arnold, John Curtis Adams, Jessica, Jarrett, Jordan, Zachary and Jesse Adams; great-grandson, Corbin Arnold; local survivor, niece, Mary Ann (Russell) Ferguson of Macon County, TN; several other nieces and nephews.
