Earl L. Aasheim, son of Andrew and Maude (Olson) Aasheim, was born on November 16, 1915 in Bode, Iowa. He attended schools in Bode, Clermont, Fla., and then came to Enderlin in 1927. He graduated from Enderlin High School.
On November 24, 1944, he married Anna Huether in Regent, N.D. He farmed near Enderlin and also did television repair for a few years. He entered Hillcrest Manor in Enderlin on August 6, 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Aasheim; three sons, Dennis, Byron and Elroy; three daughters, Diane Boyle, Cynthia Jordet and Camilla Haugen; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Maurice Aasheim, and a sister, Lorna Shelver, who died August 20, 2001.
Interment at Enderlin Cemetery, Enderlin.
