Reportedly the daughter of Revolutionary Soldier, Private David Conger. (According to "The Conger Family of America" by Maxine Crowell Leonard, 1972, and verified by the National Archives, there were no Revolutionary soldiers by the name of David Conger from Morris County. David at 16 would have been quite young to be a Captain, so any such information is for now, questionable.) She was the granddaughter of General Joseph Jackson, both of whom served in the American Revolutionary War.
