Kenneth R. Turner, 80, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013. He retired from Reynold's Metals after over 30 years of service and was an active member of the YMCA in Jeffersonville. Ken was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Ken was born on December 21, 1932 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Ray and Cecil (McDonald) Turner. He was also preceded in death by his son, Delmar "Del" Turner; and siblings, Harry Turner and Betty Abel.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth (Williams) Turner; children, Teresa Miller (Ken), Monya Turner-Schindler (Ken); sister, Leona Turner; grandchildren, Monya Ringler (Mike), Patrick Alexander (Farrah), Amber Miller, Jessica Puryear (Tim), Kevin Vittitow; great-grandchildren, Aurora and Alan Ringler, Daniel Alexander, and Raelee Vittitow.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 12 PM to 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 11 AM. His Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 1 PM in the chapel at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the YMCA (4812 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130
