Mr. Ricky Abercrombie, age 32, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Louisiana. He was born February 19, 1978 in Milton, Florida to Minnie Abercrombie. Ricky grew up in Palmdale, Florida, Glades County and later moved to Walton County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband and father. He was always willing to help others, and was a very honest person.
Ricky is survived by his mother Minnie L. Abercrombie of DeFuniak Springs, his loving wife Tammy Abercrombie of Ponce De Leon, two daughters Bridgette Nicole Rose and husband Kevin of Paxton and Brittany Ann Clenney of Ponce De Leon, two brothers Jessie Abercrombie and wife Jenny of Ponce De Leon and Chris Abercrombie of DeFuniak Springs, two sisters Amanda Abercrombie Chamberlain and husband Jacob of North Carolina and Jodie Gillis of Ponce De Leon; two grandchildren Landon Joshua Clenney and Kevin Ray Rose III.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 Red Bay Cemetery with Reverend Eddie James officiating.
