KOBZA - Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tonight at Knott Funeral Home in David City for Ivan D. Kobza, 76, of David City, who died Tuesday morning at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln following several months of illness.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Msgr. A.J. Lisko and burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
The body will lie in state all day Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born August 30, 1898, in Brainard to John and Mary Novacek Kobza, he was married to Marie C Bartek and they farmed near David City.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Daniel, Milton, and Lee; four daughters, Joann, Ramona, Carmelita, and Marie, two brothers, Adolph and Method; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Nozicka, Mrs. Veronica Styskal and Mrs. Lillian Zima and several grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
