Evelyn L. Czichas, 78, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Campus. There will be no visitation and services will be private. Inurnment will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
Evelyn Louise Abbott was born November 10, 1934 in Centerville, MO, the daughter of Cloyd and Nellie (Mullenix) Abbott. She was united in marriage to Fred Czichas on November 24, 1959 in Santa Barbara, CA. He survives her.
She was a wonderful homemaker, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband Fred, survivors include her children and their spouses Lisa (Michael) Seipel, Cedar Rapids, and Wayne (Denise) Czichas, Davenport; grandson Tyler Czichas and granddaughter Logan Czichas.
