Former County Resident Passes
Funeral services for Theodore Tobiason were held Thursday, March 16, at the Newfolden Mission church with Rev. Thv. Myhrer officiating. Pall bearers were Knute Glennen, Wilber Garfve, Frank Smith, Harvey Dyrud, Edwin Hanson and Harold Hanson. Interment was made at the Folden cemetery. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Kora Myhrer and Mrs. Clarence Larson.
Mr. Tobiason was born in Swanville, Minn. April 30, 1870 and passed away March 12, 1944 and was at his death 74 years 11 months and 12 days. He moved with his parents to Jackson county where he grew to manhood. He was married to Ida Miller. To this union 11 children were born, five of them preceding him in death. The surviving children are Andrew, Lawrence and Johnnie at home; Mrs. Ruth Kay of Minneapolis; Mrs. Evelyn Heglund of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. John Anderson of Minneapolis. His wife died five years ago. Peace to his memory. Warren Sheaf, March 22, 1944
