Woodward – The funeral for Rodney Alexzander Abbey, 19-month-old son of Alex and Rebacca Abbey, will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Garden Chapel of Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service. The Rev. Gary Flynt will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 9, 2001, at Shattuck and died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at the Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City from Wiskott-Aldridge Syndrome.
Surviving are his parents; one sister, Dancee Marie of Woodward; maternal grandparents, Teresa Lee of Woodward and Donald Bruce of Lincoln, Neb.; and paternal grandparents, Rod and Gail Abbey of Gage.
