PITTSFIELD, Ill., Oct. 23. Mrs. Jane Abbott, widow of George Abbott, died here this morning, aged 58, never having recovered from the paralytic stroke of last Friday.
She came here a young girl, prior to 1840, and had lived here ever since. She leaves two sons and a daughter, the latter being the wife of R. T. Hicks, of this place.
