Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Evelyn Abbott, 80, of Livingston, were
conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, from the chapel of Speck
Funeral Home with Bro. A.J. Cox officiating.
Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Abbott died Thursday, Oct. 13 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was
a retired garment factory worker and a member of Allons Church of Christ.
Born November 22, 1924, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late
Waymon and Minnie (Conner) Arney. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Posie Abbott; a son, Bruce Abbott; and 2
sisters, Wilma Ledbetter and Martha Arney.
