NEWARK.
Miss Fannie Bentley and Milton Abbett were married Sunday evening at Plevna. The boys entertained them Monday night at the home of the brides parents in this place, by an old fashioned chivari.

Mrs. Frances Abbett.

Mrs. Frances Abbett, wife of Milton Abbett, 931 North Fifth street, died at her home, Tuesday evening, at 6:40 o'clock. She was born in Newark, Mo., January 5, 1876, a daughter of Daniel and Elmma Blanchard Bentley, and had lived in Quincy for fourteen years. She was a member of the Methodist church. She was married to Mr Abbett in Plevna, Mo., October 15, 1900. Surviving are the husband; a son, Harry Abbett of Quincy; a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Gerding of Quincy; two brothers, B V. Bentley of Smithfield, Ill., and Rufus Bentley of Quincy, a sister, Mrs. C. E. Waterbury of Wichita, Kas., and a grandchild, Marjorie Abbett of Quincy.
