Funeral services for Mr. Rufus Adams, age 64, of Columbia were held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Riser & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W. M. Causey officiating. Burial followed in the Columbia Hill Cemetery. Mr. Adams died Thursday from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Survivors include: his wife: Mrs. Christine Adams, Columbia; three sons, Johnny Rufus Adams, Indianapolis, Indiana, Hassel Craft, Hebert, Rufus Pearl Adams, Columbia; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Calvert, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Jackie Hodge, West Monroe, Mrs. Ponzella Stapleton, Grayson, Mrs. Shirley McDivitt, Monroe; one brother, Ray Adams, Morengo, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Joseph, Viper, Kentucky, Mrs. Katie Reynolds, Viper, Kentucky, and 10 grandchildren.
